The inaugural Fit Out Awards UK 2024, covered extensively by The Sunday Times, have set a new benchmark for recognising excellence within the £8 billion UK fit out sector. The event celebrated exceptional achievement across 16 categories, uniting professionals from across the industry to honour standout projects, leaders, and innovations.

At the heart of this celebration was the Fit Out Project of the Year Award. This year, Glasgow's Flight Club, led by 3 Interior Contracts, captured the spotlight for its “exceptional attention to detail” and “professionalism,” as praised by the judging panel.

Notable individuals and organisations were also recognised, including Richard Wilson of Concorde BGW Group, who was awarded Fit Out Leader of the Year for his contributions to mentoring industry talent. Sustainability, workplace culture, and design innovation were central themes throughout the awards, reflecting the sector's progression towards more eco-conscious and wellness-focused practices.

The event, hosted at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre by comedian Alun Cochrane, brought together 123 professionals and leading companies to celebrate the innovation and dedication that define this thriving sector.
